Some people are born knowing exactly what they want to create. I was one of them. I just did not know yet how many forms that would take.
I grew up in Florida, shaped by a mother who treated every home like a canvas. I watched her transform spaces with intention and instinct, and I filed it all away. When it came time to choose a path, I put myself through an accredited interior design school and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Interior Design. I wasn’t just passionate about it. I was precise about it.
That precision led me to a private equity real estate firm where I designed and managed full rehab projects from acquisition through completion. Over time I moved from drawing up the vision to running the entire process, coordinating crews, managing budgets, overseeing timelines, and handling every detail from the bones of a structure to the finishing touches that make a house feel like something.
What started as design became something larger. Every project revealed a new layer of what I was capable of, and I kept saying yes to the harder thing. That habit has defined everything since.
“Unlike many creative professionals, I relish bringing order from chaos. A space is nothing more than a block of marble or a blank canvas waiting to spring forth a myriad of functional, cohesive, and exciting possibilities. That is what drives every project, every room, every decision. And it always has been bigger than the buildings.”
~Christine Marie
I am, at my core, someone who creates environments where people feel something. That shows up in the homes I design and sell. It shows up in the table I set for a dinner party. It shows up in the way I cook, with intention, quality ingredients, and the belief that a meal made with care is its own kind of hospitality.
I live in Tampa Bay with my husband Doug and our two little fluffy dogs, Penelope Grace and Poppi Gigi. This space, Christine Marie Co, is where I share all of it. The home projects, the cooking, the entertaining, the life we have built and keep building.
And along the way, I share the details. The sources, the recipes, the products, the process. Everything I create here is meant to be felt and, if you want it, replicated in your own home.
Welcome in.
